The information we collect directly benefits users using our website because, this site also features a Members Only section.

The Members Only section provides resources and collaborative tools for OffPAT Member Organisations and the individuals representing those bodies. We will collect personally identifiable information where you apply to become Members of the OffPAT Members Only Section.

Should you choose to complete this application, we will store information relating to that application, including some personal information in order to make an assessment as to whether you should have access.

Should your application be successful, we will also use that information to allow you to gain access to the relevant parts of that site. Further visits will result in us storing information about what you access and how you access the site. In some parts, interactive use of the site is required, and accordingly any information you submit will also be stored for the proper function of the site.

We retain information for as long as is required for the data's intended purpose, and normally, due to data archiving and disaster recovery policies, for at least 7 years as required to perform full data recovery in the event of a full disaster.

The servers housing this web site automatically collect logs that may record statistical information such as visitors' IP addresses, type of operating systems, time of visit, web pages requested, etc., and identify categories of visitors by items such as domains and browser types.

These usage statistics are are used to improve our website's and maintain site security. The information in these logs is never used by us in a personally identifiable way, although they may be able to identify or show the individual ISP or Company accessing the site. Your ISP or organisation may make such data available that would allow personal identification, but we do not use this data.
