Welcome to OffPAT

OffPAT is a membership network that operates a value for money, shared services approach to project and programme best practice.  Our aim is to support the growth of effective programme and project cultures within our member organisations as they support the development, appraisal, delivery and evaluation of economic development and regeneration projects and programmes.

OffPAT provides its members with an efficient and effective means to:

  • access the many sources of central government project and programme requirements
  • maximise the use of resources, time and cost in reviewing and applying mandatory government guidance
  • learn from one another and strengthen the transfer of best practice
  • collaborate for a common understanding of the project and programme topics; to adopt common practices, to develop collective responses to consultations
  • avoid duplication of effort in developing and disseminating good practice on a common basis across the network.

This website is managed primarily for the benefit of OffPAT member organisations; its contents may also be of interest and use to a wider audience.  The information we publish includes:

  • OffPAT  Business Plan, Annual Report and Bulletin – these set out what we do
  • OffPAT Information and Advice Notes on project and programme topics
  • Guidance and Technical Notes of relevance to our members
Links to other useful guidance, toolkits, publications or websites sorted by categories of interest to our members.

Please note that, following the election of the new Government, many websites are frozen in time pending clarification of new policies.  This will mean that quite a lot of links on OffPAT's site are going to historic information.  The situation is being monitored and changes will be made as and when.
